AI Notice
Trajan is an AI assistant. Its answers are generated by a large language model (Claude, by Anthropic) that is instructed to answer only from an indexed library of the Commonwealth's own published sources — Mass.gov how-to, service and guide pages, the Massachusetts General Laws, all of 106 CMR (DTA regulations) with the 21 current eligibility charts, the DTA Online Guide, DTA's official application forms, and the USDA/DTA payment-accuracy reports, and to cite the specific source behind every legal or factual claim.
What it can and cannot do
- It explains rules, permits, and procedures in plain language, with citations you can open.
- It cannot read your account, check a filing or refund, take a payment, or submit anything on your behalf — account-specific matters route to Mass.gov, DTA Connect (dtaconnect.eohhs.mass.gov), or the DTA Assistance Line (877) 382-2363.
- It can make mistakes. Verify anything consequential against the cited source, and treat nothing here as legal advice or as a ruling of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
